Biography

Prof. Dr. Ir. Imansyah Ibnu Hakim M. Eng was born in Jakarta on November 29, 1968.  His teaching career began in 1995.  He taught Heat and Mass Transfer, Technopreneur, and Mechanical Design subject. His scientific publications are Simulation of Thermal Precipitator for Smoke Particulates Collector as an Alternative Air Pollution Control, Simulation of Thermophoretic Force in Horozontal Plate Dust Collector, Analisa Internal Cooling Dies Pada Proses Die Casting Tranmisi Case, Rotating Heater untuk Ayam Broiler, Studi Inovasi Cool Box Motor dengan Pompa Kalor Elemen Peltier, Thermophoresis Phenomenon, Simulasi Neural Network untuk Memprediksi Konduktivitas Termal padaPolyurethane Foam, Perancangan alat uji thermophoresis untuk deposit partikel smoke, Pengaruh pilinan plat terhadap koefisien perpindahan kalor pada alat penukar kalor double pipe, Simulasi Termophoretic Force Pada Permukaan Perpindahan Kalor Plat Vertikal and others.

One of his conducted research is thermal precipitator. Everybody needs quality, clean air, mainly indoor air. Unfortunately, the Environmental Protection Agency has revealed that indoor air is 2-5 times as toxic as outdoor air. This co will undoubtedly cause air-transmitted diseases to become more widely spread. Stemming from this condition, he built a micron-sized particulate capture device based on thermophoresis known as a Thermal Precipitator. 

Online activities and photography are his hobbies. In addition, he often wrote down every moment of some events in a pleasant reading personal blog. From his marriage to Murtiningsih, he has four children: Hana Nadzifah, Muflih Abdul Halim, Umar Abdul Aziz, and Zhafirah Nurlailani.
