Biography

Prof. Dr. Ing. Ir. Nandy Setiadi Djaya Putra is a Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Indonesia. Born in Palembang on October 25, 1970. His scientific publications are the Heat Transfer of Nanofluids in Double Pipe Heat Exchangers, Heat transfer enhancement of nanofluids in car radiators, Design, and Manufacturing. Testing of a Portable Vaccine Carrier Box Employing a Thermoelectric Module and Heat Pipe, Testing Cooling Ability Prototype of Blood Sample Box Based on Thermoelectric & Heat Pipe, Characteristics of Thermoelectric Module (Peltier Element) without Specification as a Cooling System Thermoelement, Design & Development of Vaccine Carrier Box Using Model Design For Assembly (DFA), Use of Thermoelectric Module in Agarose Gel Electrophoresis Process to Accelerate Nucleic Acid (DNA) Fragment Separation, Exergy analysis for Power and efficiency improvement of Steam Power Plant by installing Dual Pressure bottoming binary cycle to utilize thermal waste, The Development of Portable Blood Carrier By Using Thermoelectrics And Heat Pipes dan Heat Pipe Technology and nanofluids.

The subjects he teaches include Heat Transfer, Heat Exchanger, Mechanical Design, Measurement and Metrology, Heat and Mass Transfer, and Energy Conversion Machines. The 10-year-old winner of the Republic of Indonesia Satya Lencana Karya Satya Award in 2006 is married to Lela Dwi Sary and has four children, namely Sarah Alya Firnadya, Nadhira Audi Larasati, Thalia Prameswari, and Naura Kalista Rahlstedtia.
