Since August 2007, the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Indonesia has manage to obtain international certification in quality management ISO 9001: 2000 for the Mechanical Engineering bachelor program at the commitment in the management of quality management for the sake of good academic quality and stakeholder satisfaction.
