Prof. Dr. Ir. Adi Surjosatyo, M.Eng.
Prof. Adi Surjasatyo is a lecturer at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Indonesia who teaches courses on Power Generation, Energy Conversion and Conservation. As a researcher, his field of expertise is energy with an interest in energy and alternative fuels.
He is active in writing scientific publications, including Biomass Gasification Using Variation of Air Inlet Flow Rate, Performance Study of Swirl Gas Burner in Biomass Gasification System, Preliminary Study of FLUIDIZED BED COMBUSTOR Operation for Organics in UI Environment, Comparative Study of Gasification Characteristics of Rice Husk and Coconut Shell Biomass, Study of low calorific value gas combustion as a result of gasification of biomass from a non-premixed swirl burner and others. Together with Prof. Yulianto, he also became the translator of the book Thermodynamics Engineering by Michael J. Moran. He served as editor of the Journal of Sciences and Technology published by the Johor Indonesian Scientist and Researcher Association in 2005.
