P2M Program, University of Indonesia Contribution to the Community at Large

The increasingly massive production of motorized vehicles in Indonesia directly opens up new fields of livelihood for anyone. Especially for those who already have certification in these fields.
According to data from GAIKINDO, total vehicle production in Indonesia in 2018 reached a high rate, 1,343,714 units. Where 78.6% (1,055,774) are controlled by passenger vehicles of various brands and sizes. Meanwhile, commercial vehicles control at least 21.4% (287,940).
Based on the data above, it can be estimated how many workers needed to produce that much production figure. Car companies
of course it will look for workers who have certification in order to produce vehicles quickly, precisely, and of high quality.
In order to answer the market needs which of course are getting bigger, Universitas Indonesia through the P2M program implemented by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Indonesia. This program is held to train UI students and the general public to be ready to become experts who are of course in accordance with the fields of Engineering they want.

The P2M program includes several trainings. Among these are: 1. Maintenance Management Training; 2. Techincal Training; 3. Industrial Engineering; 4. Academic Improvement & Soft Skills; 5. Building Management; 6. Welder.

The six programs above are ways for the University of Indonesia to devote their knowledge to the general public. Through educators who are reliable and already have many achievements, this P2M program is certainly the answer for those of you who want to add capabilities in the field of Mechanical Engineering.
